Today we are going to make a white bean stew with grandma’s touch. We will use Emulsionizer to thicken the sauce and make it just as delicious as it is irresistible.

Ingredients for the grandma’s beans

  • 250 g of white beans
  • 2 liters of water
  • 1 dash of EVOO
  • 1 whole garlic
  • 1 large green bell pepper
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 1 potato
  • 1 spoonful of paprika or any other spice of your choice
  • salt

Preparation time: 1:15 hour

Preparation:

  1. Soak the beans overnight and in the morning discard the soaking water.
  2. Put the water to boil in a casserole and when it is warm add the beans and the rest of the ingredients. The vegetables are washed with water but it is not necessary to cut them into pieces, we will put them whole with skin, stalk, etc.
  3. The fire is raised and it is left to boil for 7 minutes. Then lower the heat and let it cook for 50 minutes more.
  4. It is necessary to watch that it shows bubbles of cooking permanently. During the cooking time, the salt is tested and adjusted and the paprika is also added.
  5. When the hour of cooking has passed, we test a bean to see if it is soft. If it is al dente, let it cook a little more until it softens.
  6. To thicken the stew, carefully introduce the Emulsionizer into the stew and put all the vegetables in the stew, skin and all, into the filter. Also add a handful of cooked beans and beat for 1 minute with the hand blender, making circles in the pan to expand the texture better.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
